Water

So today in London it was 27 degrees Celsius, it was very hot. During this time I started to feel a little bit dehydrated, so I realised that I need to drink alot more water!!
It is recommended that we should be drinking at least 1 to 2 litres a day, however we should be drinking alot more during this hot period, ideally between 2 to 3 litres. But I think with the temperature rising even more to 31 degrees, I would drink as much water as possible.
Water is fantastic, as it helps keep your skin clear, it helps to flush out toxins, it also helps with bowel movement, which is important to help with reducing cholesterol.
Our body is also made up of at least 70% water, so it is very important to replenish this amount when it starts to decrease. We lose water through many ways, including sweat, and when we go to the toilet.
So in the meantime happy drinking !!!

This bottle of water is from Asda, it is priced at £2 for 6, so it is a great price, especially during this hot weather.
Each bottle is a litre, so plenty of opportunities to increase your intake

  1. Sure!
That is one thing I don't joke with, especially when I just finished my workout. It's highly recommended for people looking to lose weight; it won't make you bloat but will rev up your metabolism.

  2. Thanks for this. However, even as much as I know that water is good for my health, I don't usually find water to be appealing. Can I substitute with sweetened drinks at all?

    1. Yes you can pearl, what I suggest is flavoured water however please look at the label at the back as they contain high amounts of sugar. These now come in different types of flavours so I am sure you will find something that you like. Hope this helps let me know if you need more and I can do a re boost post on this :)
