Eating well- mental health awareness


So today's theme is eating well, and managing weight. As unfortunately when we do not eat properly this can really affect our weight, wellbeing and our health. I attached a picture from a previous post a few years ago now, but this is still really relevant in aiding us to live longer.

Always start the day with food packed full of protein, carbohydrates and mixtures of fruit. Then that way we are more likely to continue to make healthy choices throughout the day.
Also try to keep busy and keeping the mind active by trying new skills. So I have only been recently started cooking again, which has been really pleasant actually, and also because I am cooking from scratch I am able to control the portion sizes, and what goes into the food. So all in all its all positive!!
