Advertising part 2

So on the back of a recent post I did on the NHS top authority stating that social media posts advertising weight loss and diet products should be banned. I have just watched a documentary on BBC iPlayer into how social media have a big part to play when advertising to their followers.

In a world now where everyone is on Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, instergram and You Tube, you can see the opportunity where serious money can be made. Unfortunately there is a downside to this where people can become trapped , and feel anxious due to social media, which is explored here, Panorama, Million Pound Selfie Sell Off: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0c3gmcv via @bbciplayer

On a really positive note Actor and  TV Presenter Jameela Jamil started a campaign to encourage to be happy with their bodies, and not to conform to what society sees as ideal. One of the things she has done is to start a petition to stop celebrities promoting diet products, which I am a firm believer in,

I have signed the petition why don't you do the same?

Have a look
