Meat a threat to our planet

Things have been so busy for me the last few weeks however I am now back with an exciting post to share

So I was just watching this documentary called meat a threat to our planet. The presenter Liz Bonnin travelled to the USA to look at the demand of meat and the impact on the environment. It was not only interesting but also, it really does open my eyes on how much meat consumption can be so so costly on the green spaces, landfill but also in seas.
I have now reduced the amount of red meat a week sometimes I may not eat meat for a week. I also eat bacon once a week as well.
Ideally I know that it would be so friendly for the environment if I gave up meat and fish altogether, but I really do enjoy it. So to make everyone happy I thought I would only reduce it. But honestly seeing all the African penguins on the verge of extinction because of this, as well as the other animals, and forests it is saddening.

  1. Hmmm. Interesting. This is the fact even if we don't want to face it. Most animal species are gradually going into extinction and the main reason is because our demand for meat is more than the supply they produce. I think I'll also start cutting down my own meat intake till I have completely stopped it. Won't be easy but it's definitely worth it as I would have done my part in saving the land.
