Chicken wraps


My journey of cooking more healthy recipes continues with this chicken wrap that i made a couple of days ago. I had some vegetables left over, and did not want to waste it, so I thought if i just bought the chicken, wraps and sour cream (which came to a total of £3.50) i can have a meal, and any left over, i can freeze them or have it at a later date. This would definitely save me money long term as i would not be tempted to go to the shops and buy food, and then also buy items that i really do not want, and then regret later on. So if i just did this, i can then minimise my unnecessary spending 

This is the ingredients:

pack of chicken (chopped into small pieces)
pack of mixed peppers (chopped into small pieces)
1 onion (chopped into small pieces) 
1 garlic (minced) 
1tsb of sour cream per wrap
pack of wraps
1tsb of chilli 
1 Avocado (minced with the pulp and skin removed) 



Method:

Fry the chicken in oil with the chilli flakes, fry for 4 minutes

Then add the onions, with the garlic, continue to fry this for 5 more minutes. 

Check the chicken to ensure that this is cooked all the way through

Once chicken is done heat wraps as per instructions on the packet 

Add the teaspoon of avocado to each wrap, 

Then add the chicken mixture,

finally add the sour cream 

add grated cheese, however this is optional 

serve with some green salad .

  2. I love this recipe, I usually push anything i can into a tortilla and eat it. I am a huge fan of chicken and I am going to make this meal now.

  3. Any recipe that has garlic, chicken, and chilli inside is a big Yes for me. I made this wraps for me and my girlfriend and we are both loving it.
