salt awareness

This week is salt awareness so just wanted to put on my blog the dangers of salt,
not only can it do damage to the kidneys, it can also raise blood pressure levels as well.
we are all advised to have no more than 6 grams a day, this is equilvilant to a teaspoon!! not very much is it??
so please check the labels, on food as 75% of them contains salt anyway, so when we add salt, we are just adding to the volume of it per day
